water quality association (wqa)

The Water Quality Association is a non-profit organization that sets the standard for the water treatment industry. They offer you, the consumer, a layer of protection by awarding their WQA Gold Seal WQA Gold SealCertification only to those products that have successfully tested to meet or exceed industry performance standards.

The WQA does not make recommendations on companies or answer specific product questions, however, they do offer certification for water professionals through a voluntary credentialing process.

To become a Certified Water Specialist or to achieve any WQA certified title, the candidate must pass a comprehensive exam and accept the WQA Code of Ethics for the Water Quality Improvement Industry.
