Men's Health Magazine 2/07
Recently, Men's Health Magazine rated Phoenix water the "least pure" out of 100 cities tested. They examined the most recent data on levels of arsenic, lead, halo-acetic acids and total trihalomethanes (linked to cancer), and total choliform bacteria, plus the number of EPA water-system violations from 1995 to 2005. Apparently, Phoenix racked up thousands of water-system violations - given for exceeding an MCL or making a monitoring mistake. Entire article can be found here
